I cannot get the audio from my electro brand turntable (L2650) to work thru my Sony DVD Home Theatre System DAV-DZ170.

Hi,
would you please try to explain how did you connect it to each other ?
and which input you have used on DAV-DZ170 ?
does your DAV-DZ170 have any "PHONO" input ?
it is important to know the existing connection to offer acceptable solution..
Thanks.

Sound coming from speakers is very low.Turntable connected to a Sony home theater system has no jack for turntable. I have it plugged into the sat/tv/cd jack.

if there is no phono input on your home theatre amp, plug the turntable into the auxillary sockets and not the sat/tv/cd input as it wont work properly in that socket. if after putting the turntable into the auxillary socket it is still too quiet then you should purchase a specially made small pre-amp booster amplifier designed for turntables to inprove the signal to noise ratio from a reputable hi-fi shop/dealer. good luck

At this point you may have fried the output stage. Is there a specific model listed on the back? I need that to locate the schematic.

Thanks,

Is it possible to to have a home theatre with Denon AVR 3600

one option that may yield results, since the bose connection to equalizer is presently not possible is to set the speaker out put on the denon for 'small' on all but the front speakers.
and then set the delay for all speakers based on the distance to the amp.
this should result in better audio that that with the bose eq.
will work on the issue of using the eq. with the denon if you like. but, you will likely not improve on the sound with the denon set up correctly.
good luck
