Question about Acer Aspire M3201 Phenom X3 8650 PC Desktop
I have been led to think i need a firewire card, i have loads of six pin ports on my tower, thing is my camera uses a four pin port, i only recently discovered that theres adapter cables out there, could it be that easy? couldnt i just get a six pin to four pin adapter cable? sounds to good to be true.
If your camera is Firewire, iLink,or IEEE 1394, then you need Firewire support or a Firewire card.
If your camera has a USB symbol, or says USB anywhere in the manual, you can use USB for the functions it allows.
There is no USB to Firewire or Firewire to USB without the use of an advanced device.
