Question about InFocus Office Equipment & Supplies
I have an "In-Focus" LP-130 DLP Projector which is giving me some problems. When connected to any computer and attempt to play any video,it has a bunch of horizontal lines resembling a barcode running horizontally across image. What is the problem? Any help would be very much appreciated.Thank you. AL
Hi my name is Vortash the bars you are seeing are the result of a capacitor or diode failure in the projector possibly in the power supply , they are usually referred to as ac hum bars .. this is where a circuit that should be running on pure dc voltage is being tainted by ac seepage from another part of the machine .. its also possible with the heat generated in these units it is just bad solder or dry joints ,,, best get an engineer to check it though as ot may damage the bulb and I would bet money on a repair being cheaper than a replacement bulb hoe this helps regards Vortash
