It feel like the actuation of you're clutch lever does not disengage you're clutch plate ...i will think that you're clutch actuation arm ( the one the clutch cable get in... is not engage at the right place or the arm is not on the right spline)...spring and plate only is an issue when the clutch is sliping....

Clutch not working on my kx 125 replaced cable pivot arm not returning

the spring in the clutch basket makes the pivot getting back to is free play place.. you may remove the right side clutch cover and remove pressure plate to figured it out what hapens there... or you may have the bering from the pivot arm jammed or something with it...

When i engage the clutch and select any gear the bike will leap forward and stall. In other words I cannot pull the clutch in and start the bike.

If the bike hasn't been ridden for a while, select top gear, (engine off) and with the clutch pulled in rock the bike back and forth. That may free the clutch.

Kx 125, wont select gear

Chris make sure that you have put the brass washer back on the drain plug the tolerances of the 03's were so tight that the drain plug going into the case even that tiny extra amount will affect shifting and clutch performance Good Luck

Bought a used 88 cr250 and like and idiot i didnt ride it first to make sure the tranny shifted properly...well, it didnt. when i pull in on the clutch to drop the bike in gear with the motor running it...

sounds like you need a clutch. Yes the friction plates should move a bit when you pull your clutch lever in that is how the clutch works what oil are you running in you tranny and have you tried adjusting the clutch cable? When you had your clutch apart what did the friction plates look like was there much meat left on them?

I have 2003 kawasaki kx 125 when you put it in gear with clutch in it jumps forward and dies. where do i start with this?

make sure clutch ,is disengaging properly when you pull in clutch lever, adjust lever until you have about 1/8" freeplay.if still not disengaging, you need to drain gearbox oil, take clutch cover off & inspect clutch pack, you may have friction plates sticking together.

Removal of front wheel

Simply undo the axle nut and slide out the axle bolt. You might need to take out the split pin if your bike has one.
