Question about Minolta Office Equipment & Supplies
Hi and welcome to FixYa,
To my understanding, the reset you mentioned refers to ""Toning up Procedure" which requires to press and hold down the CLEAR / STOP button while turning the power on. Thereafter, toner/developer ratio can be changed in the choice mode.
To your concern and as you posted, error code "PC" refers to either:
While I am not particularly familiar with the EP21XX series or with most Minolta models for that matter, common problem in some other brands/models would be the paper sensor. You may want to consider that possibility. While not really defective, it would, over time, have accumulated dust and paper particles that may be interfering with its function. A can of compressed air using the nozzle tube to direct the air in between the small spaces should do the job. Exercising the sensor protruding portion where the stack of paper sits on would also help. Should you be able to have access to the moving parts, a bit of WD40 would also help.
Additionally, it might not be a bad idea to invest in a service manual. The only one I could readily find is Intravia's Service Guides 5th Edition.
Hope that this be of additional information and perhaps something that you could give a try. Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.

Hi, can you tell me the exact error code and where you get it, on printer or the pc?

It sounds to me like the rubber rollers that grab and feed the paper are just about worn or the teeth has worn too, as you say in your post its quite an old machine so common sense would dictate that this may be the problem.
If you have done so already i would suggest you look inside for any foreign objects, clean the feed rollers with rubbing alcohol and try to feed paper through again and if you have the option use the printers software to clean the heads and print a test page.
If after all this it still won't feed through i would consider buying a new printer as a repair job by a technician could cost as much as new printer.
Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!

This is something which is controlled from the software . The printer prints as instructed by the computer installed application. I would therefore request you to verify or recheck or undo any settings changes that you might have dones recently .
For detailed installation of a fresh software please follow the instruction provided in the manual.
