- i have an RCA rcr4383 remote and an emerson ewc19T5 TV. Suddenly the remote no longer works, so i imagine i need to reinstall the codes. Guess who doesn't have that codes? That would be me. Any ideas? Thanks in advance - acohenpr

1. Press Clear
2 Press and hold the component key (tv,sat, and ect) & Power key
3. Wait till led turns off then back on again
4. press play every five sec.
5. Once tv turn's off then press reverse key till tv turns on
6. then press stop

open up the battery compartment and take out he batteries look for the model number example rcr4383 find it on this webpage

click the number model that's yours and download the manual in a pdf.

I have a RCR4383 Universal Remote. I have a Panasonic TV. I was not able to find the code when I looked on RCA.com/codefinder. I just do not know what to do with this new remote. Please help.
