Question about iRiver PMP-120 Digital Media Player
Hi, I have had the iriver X20 8GB stop opening due to bad files which have been loaded to it. It was suggested to me to Format the device, but after reading the manual its not clear how to do it at all. Other than it needs to connected to the PC. But as it doesn't open due to bad files the PC doesn't recognise it.
Any tips on how to format the device?
Secret reset buttons?
I think you need to have a Windows XP w/SP1 or later and USB 2.0 port to connect to. Any older operating system/Pc will not do. Once you make the connection, simply Right-Click on the new drive letter (PC would have created for the player) and click <Format> followed by <start> .

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
