Question about Dymo LabelWriter 400 Thermal Printer
I had a dymo 400 on my XP OS PC. One day it stopped working. My boss had me buy a new one. I installed it and then restarted my PC. Soon as I sent the 1st label request, the queue shows 2 in iot and the 1st has a printing error. I have to resort to unplugginf the labeler and replugging it to get 1 label printed. Any solutions to this issue?
Here was what worked for me. unplug the labelwriter completely. take the current labels out of the printer and take them off the roll and follow the Dymo guide for getting them correctly back on. ensure there is no gap between the spindle and the labels. if there is a tiny gap and print error can occur. plug everything back in and reinstall your software(this is more of a just to be sure thing). If the error persists, unplug the power for 30 seconds and plug back in again and try to print again.
