CD Player not workinig

The Cd Player in my 2003 Nissan Altima will not play. Keeps giving me an error message. How can if fix this. We are going away tomorrow and would like an answer from the experts as soon as possible. Thanks in advance!!

Try using a cd player cleaner disk, then remove the radio fuse in the fuse block wait about five minutes then re-install. This is done to restart the radio. If that don't work disconnect the negative from the battery, wait five minutes then reattach, this will restart the cd player for sure. This will also restart the car computer just so you are aware.

2003 altima burned Cd trouble


1) you must use the CD cleaner first, before to fix anything in CD Burning.

2) The reason is that the use can be dust the OPU, and you must cleaning.

The radio plays, but when i go to try nd play the cd player error1 keeps coming up.what exactly is error 1.&& do you think i need a new deck?


It can't read disc, try another disc preferably factory bought recorded disc not computer MP3 version off computer

The cd player doesn't play many cds in nissan altima. sometime when we put in the cds, they work, but other times the cds just come out. any help?


try using a cd cleaning disc sometimes players get dirt and dust in them causing problems like what you are describing

I have a 2003 altima and the cd player is plays the first 3 songs on a cd and it gives me a error-1.


Sounds like the track that sends the lazer back and forth is bad, or the motor that powers it is bad. Replace the radio.

if you have waranty on the vehicle take it to the dealer if not ther is probably something mangled inside some companies fix these radios fairly cheap compared to new radio prices (shortcircuit in california)
