The tensioner pulley for the belt, oil it with 3 in 1 oil, NOT WD40, if it stops then you need to replace the pulley because it will come back :)

Hi My dryer is working no funny noises but it trips breaker every ten minutes. Maytag MDE6800AYW

it sounds like there may be a short in the wiring of the dryer or the dryer may be drawing to much current and tripping the breaker. I would suggest turning off any other electronics you have running in or near the bathroom and see if that helps. If the problem persists i would suggest buying a new hair dry as a damaged hair dryer can easily start a fire.

Mde6800ayw dryer just stopped working

Have her turn the breaker off to the dryer, then back on.
If it is not a incoming power issue the part #21 in the diagram will need replacing.
The connecting vent will also have to be checked for obstruction of airflow.

cut and paste this link and find the thermal fuse part #21.

Out Maytag Neptune dryer, model # MDE6800AYW, has no heat coming out of the dryer. We checked the vent line and it is clean. Is their something else we can check?

Upon starting up the dryer you should hear a clicking noise. That clicking is from the spark ignitor that ignites the burner. If not heard replace the ignitor

Changing a 3 prong plug into a regular outlet plug.

Your plug is for 220v and a regular wall outlet is 110volts. It simply will not work. You will burn out your dryer, and place yourself at risk of electrocution.

MayTag Neptune MDE6800AYW dryer drum making rumbling knocking noise

Have someone change the bearing, it sounds like it has busted on ya. The rumbling sounds like the ball bearings in the bearing have failed.
