Epsom 300 keeps coming up with the message parts in your printer need service how do i get around it please help

Thewaste ink pad inside the printer is fully loaded with waste ink. You needto reset the waste ink pad chip. To do this you mast. 1. Press and hold "Stop", "Maintenance", and"Power" buttons for about 10 seconds. A message will comeon the screen saying counter is reset and to turn the printer off. TheR200 and others don't have a screen so just wait until the 10 seconds isup. 2. Turn the printer off, unplug the power cord. Wait about 1minute and power the printer back up. The counter will bereset. That's all there is to the reset procedure. 3. The waste padis actually full and ink is about to overflow, then you need to install a wastecontainer. You can see the waste pad by opening the access panel onthe back of the printer. Open theaccess panel on the rear of the printer (remove screw) You will see atube (down and to your left) coming from the cleaning pump and it willhave an open end on it. This is the tube that delivers ink to the wastepad. Use a piece of coat hanger wire or equivalent, and fish out this piece oftube. Bring it to the outside of the printer, thru the access panel. Findyourself a suitable container (Tupperware or a plastic cup or jar) that is nottoo tall. Put the tube into this container and secure the tube andcontainer so they won't come apart or lose connection if the printer is moved. Ifyou wish you can make a hole or notch in the access panel cover so it can bereplaced. Now the ink will go into this container and not into the waste padinside the printer. If it gets full, dump it.csts_2.jpg

Hi! You may want to try head cleaning to resolve the blurry prints. The smudge may be caused by a full waste ink pad. Try to replace the wastepad and it may resolve the problem. Hope this helps and have a good one!

Spillbläck full? What to do

It means that the pad that absorbs the ink when the heads are cleaned is full and if you use it more it will spill the ink over your desk. The official way to deal with that is to take the printer to a dealer and they will clean the absorbing pad and reset the warning.
You can do both yourself:
1 - to clean the ink pad: remove the cartridges and unplug the combo - the carousel should remain in the middle, leaving the pad in the right side visible; take the printer to your sink and pour water over it thru a pipe (try not to splash it everywhere) until the pad becomes white and the water that flows out colourless; allow it to dry thoroughly (at least 2 days in a hot environment).
2 - Reset the Waste Ink Volume Counter
1) Press Menu + Copy + # to enter SERVICE MODE.
2) Select TEST MODE.
3) Select 8 - PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE.
4) Select 3 - EEPROM CLEAR.
5) Select 0 - INK COUNT.
6) Press the OK key.
7) Press the Stop/Reset key (returning to the state of 3) and then press the ON/OFF key.

WASTE INK ABSORBA FULL

Inkjet printers have a fibrous pad inside them that collects the waste ink from cleaning the print head. Over time, this pad fills up with ink and can no longer hold any more. When this occurs, the printer indicates a "waste ink tank full" error.

Replacing the waste ink absorption pads is something an authorized canon service facility can take care of for you. Once they are replaced, it'll be functional again.

How do you find the waste ink collector on a printer/scanner ?

The waste ink absorption pads are inside the printer, in the very bottom. They are usually soaked with ink when full and are very messy.
