Question about GE WSXH208A Front Load Washer
My GE Adora front load washer is humming and not filling. I set it to wash and when I come back to put the stuff in the dryer, it's all still bonedry. appears that the soap has been leaking out the front, under the door. i cleaned out the little catch thing that keeps them from draining (i learned about that here and it's true). i unplugged it and when i plug it back it the only thing that lights up is the "door locked" light and then it starts humming like it's trying to work. i'm afraid to let it just do that and run the course until it stops and lets me open the door for fear the motor will burn out. Please help!
Had the same problem this morning, turned out the pump on the drain side had frozen, took it apart, and broke free the fan, humming stopped, washer back up and working. Its two screws to the bottom of the washer, two electrical connection (white and black) two hoses to undo, and three screws on the pump itself, after actually committing to doing it, only took about 10 minutes.
