    Would need to know more information about your system and what subscore area got the 3.0. Also remember that while Windows 7 maybe a release candidate there still can be some (generally slight) performance differences in the final version.

This a 7 port usb2.0 USB hub. You can connect 7 usb devices at a time but that will reduce/freeze the system performance if used together.
Download speed can't be increased by this device anyway.

I have Windows 7 32bit and a 6200 512 AGP video card. My motherboard has 8X capability and set up properly in the bios. I have downloaded the latest Nvidea drivers for the card and they installed OK. When...

@rick_pere159

The reason for this is that your AGP video card only support DirectX 9.0 Shader Model 3.0 (pixel shader and it's operating at 2133 MB/s max - this is how fast it can fill up pixels in a video-game). The reason Windows is rating it low is because Windows tests your card on how many pixel it can shade in a 3-D graphics environment - since VGA operates in a parallel simultaneous transmission, it can only occupy 1 lane with a transfer rate of 2133MB/s at max - which is not bad with a subscore rating of 2.5 which is usually sufficient in the desktop graphics and 3?D graphics categories. In order for you to get a 3.0 and above rating for the video card, you must have a GPU that supports D3D (Direct 3D) v10.0, and pixel shader model 4.0.

Take note that the higher clock speed and pixel shader version of your video card, that faster it will get in 3D acceleration - thus higher video card rating.

Hope this information helps.

Speed Up Windows 7 BootUpdate 04/21: This tweak does not seem to have great effects on your boot time. Instead use a startup programs manager for Windows 7 and remove as many startup programs as you possibly can.
Do you have a dual-core or quad-core processor? Great, let's lower the boot time of Windows 7:
1. Click on Start, enter "msconfig" into the search field
2. Open the "boot" tab
3. Click on Advanced
4. Check "Number of proccessors" and select "2′ or "4′ from the dropdown menu. (obviously, you can only select it if you have a dual-core/quad-core).

How can I speed up My Sony vio pcg frv37? Would increasing ram help, or should I update the is from xp to win 7?

Hey

If you only have 512MB of ram, installing more ram will speed it up a lot. Max supported ram is 1024 or 1GB. install another 512MB ram module.
it will improve the performance.
Do not install windows 7 to this computer, it does not have enough ram it will be slower.
Let me know if you need further assistance or advice. Ekse
