Question about Insignia NS-DA1G MP3 Player
I charged it but not all, and it wont turn on
My son just got the (((( Insignia Kix 1GB MP3 Player Model: NS-1A10S)))))) had the same problem look on the side of the unit for switch that says hold .. move it,, you should see a green color under it ..then push the on button it should come on ... im going to try and put up the user guide in my products ..it shows the switch im talking about.

Check your battery. Make sure it's installed in the correct direction and that the very small tab is opposite the USB and headphone jacks. Be sure the battery contacts (all 3) are making contact with the power tabs. You might want to use a small tool and pry the contacts out slightly.
If you're getting power and connection with a PC, but not when disconnected, then it's sounding like a battery issue.
For Sakuhime, the player might need to be re-formatted to FAT-32 with your PC. However, if your firmware has been damaged, that's a bigger problem. If the unit is out of warranty, its a brick. What operating system you are using on your computer is also important. This unit is best supported when using Win XP with SP2. It will work with other OS's (like OSX 10.0.0 and up), but XP is the preferred choice.
