Question about Olympus mju 740 Digital Camera
I have Olympus Mju780. After I made the photos, some pictures are not compressing good by the camera. I can see them in the camera (even on TV), but on PC they are not completed (I can see only few first lines). Does some body recognize this problem? How I can repair those pictures? Is there some special software I should use?
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Remove the Software
Restert the Computer
Plug camera in and turn on set it to the upload mode.
Windows will then fid it via the Camera/Scanner Wizard.
If there is still a problem
A cheap card reader will do the trick

Are you always using the same USB-port on your PC? If yes try to use another USB-port.
If the above solution will not work try to re-install the camera drivers.

Be sure that you plug original Olympus USB cable directly into USB port on mother board (ussualy on the back side of PC) not on the front pannel hub and not into extention USB cable.

Sounds like you will need to format the memory card. This will permanently erase all the data from the card and then you will be able to use it again. To format the card: Press the Menu button - right arrow to setup - right arrow to format option. You will see format yes or no. Choose Yes and press ok. This will clear the Picture error message and the card can be used again. The picture error message indicates that this image is now corrupted and unable to be viewed through the camera.

The write protect is on the memory card, take the card out and unlock it, it will be at the side of the card like this .
Good luck and thanks for using Fixya!!
