Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player
My sansa was working fine. I had over 1GB left on it. I have a 4GB. It would tell me on the player that I had 500 and something songs. It worked for a week with just one glitch where it froze and then I reset it and it worked fine after that. This was the first week I had it and I haven't downloaded any songs since the 500+. I plugged it in using an AC charger to charge it and now the player shows it's charged, but it only shows 62 songs and it won't scroll through the menu. I noticed where someone else said their player would only recognize 62 songs too, so doesn't that seem like a glitch in the hardware or software, whichever it would be? It did originally show the songs on the player and should hold more than 62 songs. Where did my songs go and what's wrong with my scroller?
Sounds like the device may be full.
The device has 2 modes, if you put music on in either mode, you cannot see it in the other.
Easiest solution is to format the device and remove everything and then transfer them back in 1 specific mode.
To format in My Computer>Device Name (e260)>Right click and select format.
Best of Luck.
