Question about PfaFF Creative 7570

1 Answer

So I just got myself a 7570 and so far am in love with it. I cannot find how I would have the thread stand up right as opposed to laying down. Surely this option is available as it was availble on my 26 year Pfaff 1025 Tiptronic.

Thank you. I actually went back to the person that I bought it from and they had forgotten to give me that spool holder. So all is good now. I haven't even started to learn how to embroider yet. But am certainly enjoying the machine.

Beside the spool carrier in the top of the machine there is a hole to the right near the front, this is there to take an upright spool pin which should be in the tool box.

Can the light bulb on the Pfaff 7570 be changed without the bulb changer tool?

Yes. First turn off the machine. You need to get out the cover (cap) with the stitches number in it. Move the bobbin winder to the position to full a bobbin. Unscrew the screw near the bobbin winder. Next unscrew the screw near the thread reel holder. Pull up the handle to carry the machine and now put up this cover. Unscrew the biggest screw at the left hand, just unscrew a little. I'ts a little more down. Then pull up the cap at the left hand (the cap that have the thread trimmer). Now change the bulb and put all the caps to the right position. I hope that you understand me, my first language is spanish.

I haven't used my 7570 for a few years until a couple of days ago. When I tried to wind a new bobbin, the thread did not wind tightly, but made a big loose mess, with thread extending beyond the edges of...

If your machine has not been used for a few years, chances are the oils in the machine have drained from where they should be. It might be a good idea to get it serviced whether or not you solve the bobbin winding problem. One thing I would try is to run the machine with no thread for a bit - not flat out, but just to get the oil that is in it warmed and lubricating the moving parts. Stop if you hear strange noises that don't sound right. I have a 7550 which is basically the same as the 7570, but can't think of anything that might cause your winder to behave in this manner. It is after all a pretty simple procedure. It might be that the winder was on its way out anyway before you stopped using it a few years back, and the lay-off was the last straw. It probably would not be a really expensive repair and well worth it - these machines are fabulous!

On what number should I put 7570 tention when

Refer to the manual. If you do not have a manual, start at 4 and work your way through the numbers, bit by bit until you get good results.

The bobbin thread should pull the top thread slightly under and to the back.

Machine embroidery bobbin thread is heavier than the standard size machine embroidery top thread and this also helps to pull the top thread to the back.

Don't know how to thread this machine

Thread the first thread guide, then halfway around the small metal disk (counter clockwise) and down between the tension disks, back up and through the take-up lever, back down to the needle bar thread guide and through the eye of the needle :)

I cant set the tension on my PFAFF 7570 the thread keeps

First make sure your needle is in correctly. Then make sure you are threading the machine correctly especially make sure you thread the take-up lever. Make sure your tension dial is at a 4 to 5. if this does not work, let me know

PfaFF 1222e timming is off

Setting time isn't as simple as it sounds. You'd have to follow a checklist first before you can do the setting. I could tell you but it is just too long to upload and don't know how I can post the img's. So my best advice is to buy the factory or generic repair manual.

Hello, I have bought a PFAFF 213 sewing machine with a jammed shaft. I have oiled the machine, but the needle won't move up and down. The machine is very clean inside, indicating that it has been used...

I did fix the jammed shaft - simply by applying some tenacious oil and letting it sit overnight. It is now a fully-functioning machine!

Thanks for your ear and your interest,

Threading a pfaff creative 7570

Always thread the machine with the presser foot up. This keeps the tension disks open while you are threading. Open the lid on top. Put thread on spool holder. Go directly to your left and down the path on the farthest left. Go all the way to the bottom and bring the thread up on the path closer to the spool. Hook the thread through the metal piece that moves up and down while sewing. It should be in the highest position when threading. Run the thread down and clip into the small metal holder above the needle. Pull down needle threader, draw thread across front of it from left to right and pull through needle.
