Arlene, I can describe a problem that is common, called spoofing. When someone receives an email thought to be from you, we immediately think that our email has been hacked. You may be the victim of a spoof, where a hacker uses your address book to send out viruses or just annoyances to everyone in your address book. Spammers use this technique to hide their identity (like putting someone else's return address on an envelope). Some are harmless, others harmful, all are invasive. You may be able to get rid of the problem by running a malware detection program (I use malwarebytes, which is free to private users, and I run it at least once per month.), but you should also change your password in your instant messenger/email/facebook account, etc. In fact, it is a good idea to change your passwords regularly to keep the unfriendly out. You can try a number of different solutions which have worked for some people:
Solution 1...
Clear your cache and delete all of your cookies in your browser.
Solution 2...
In your browser, type in the address bar http://www.facebook.com/login (which doesnt exist)
This will take you to a different login page which reads: "The page you requested was not found."
At the top of this page is a login box. Try using this login box to login to facebook.

Solution 3...
Download Firefox 3.5 and used that instead of Internet Explorer.

Tip: If you are using the Adblock extension with Firefox, and subscribe to an ad list (basically a list of known ads online), it blocks a special site (fbcdn.net)
that Facebook uses to login.

Tip: Go to: http://www.facebook.com/login.php (the page you are having trouble logging in) and click on the
Adblock Stop Sign on top of Firefox, and you will see in red a url that includes
fbcdn.net. Right click on that, and add an exception for the entire fbcdn.net domain.
Reload the page. This should fix the problem.

Solution 4...
Use a Proxy Server to connect to Facebook.com
1. Search Proxy in GOOGLE
2. Select Proxy Server
3. Type in facebook.com (in the proxy server webpage)
4. login into facebook account
5. (although all games will work but Farmville may have problems loading)

If you used a friends computer or a computer other than your own, that person who owns that computer has your password because you probably didn't log off Facebook. Then they changed the password. Try to recall when you logged into Facebook on someone else's computer - they have the password.

First you need to remove that virus in your computer using a ANTI VIRUS SOFTWARE. There are lots of free trial antivirus nowadays. Try AVG and try to delete this file associated with the virus.Then try to reset again the password.
Another way to log on your facebook account is by changing a new internet browser like FIREFOX, CHROME OR OTHERS. Then try to log on again your password.
Otherwise, you have to reformat your computer again to get rid of the virus in your computer. By then, sure it will works 100% fine.
