Question about Samsung SGH-d807 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Phone loses charge really fast

I've had my Samsung D807 for about 6 months now and it's been great. However, within the past month I've noticed, I can charge it all night long, then talk on it for 10 minutes and suddenly I'm back down to one bar. I can't always be charging my phone like that. What's wrong with it and how do I fix it?

My samsung galaxy ace gt~s5830 keeps losing network signal

I faced the same problem with my Samsung Ace S5830 that it keeps losing the network signal. I formatted the phone and still the same problem. I took the phone to the Samsung store and they opened the phone and cleaned it with some solution and i tried to use the phone for sometime and still the same. I was very frustrated with and unhappy with my phone as it is not even a month and it kept on losing the signal and sometimes would restart and would lose the battery charge. I tried doing this step( Settings>Wireless and Networks>Mobile Networks>Network Mode>Select either GSM or CDMA(Depends on the provider) By default, it would be selected as GSM/WCDMA(Auto Mode)
From Network Operators select the desired network and then restart the phone. Hope this would fix the problem.

My phone looks like its charging but it won't switch on

If the phone is unable to turn on, even if the battery is fully charged it really needs service.

My phone won't charge. Like sometimes it does but only if you push the charger in really hard but that doesn't always work. Also it loses the charge really fast like within a few hours.

Sounds like a bad connector on the charger, pick up a new one and you might need a new battery. If phone is under 1 year warranty your carrier should replace both for you for free.

Well it sounds like a combo of both. Definitly get the battery replaced again. The phone itself probably needs new software. take it your service provider's corp store to get the software updated.
