What is your camera? If you have an Auto mode/ Basic mode it will be easier as the camera will detect flash, red eye for you.

What are the best setting for the nikon s4300

The "best" settings depend on what you're taking a picture of, and on what you want that picture to say to the viewer. The best setting for a portrait won't be the best setting for a landscape, for example. The best setting for a portrait of a young girl may not be the best setting for a portrait of her grandfather.

Two photographers taking a picture of the same thing with the same camera may not choose the same settings because each photographer "feels" different about the picture and want the viewer to get that feeling.

That's why cameras come with all these settings. YOU are the photographer, the camera is just a tool. You might want to visit your local library and look through some introductory photography books. They will explain what the various settings do and how they affect the picture. They will tell you the "best," or at least the "better" settings for certain situations. Above all, experiment. Take pictures of the same thing with different settings and look at them on your computer to see what changes. One big advantage of digital photography is that experimentation doesn't cost you anything.

Tip

How to take best pictures.

1. The best pictures can be taken with a tripod and using self timer or the remote control of the camera.

2. Some people think that the best picture can be taken with suddenly pressing the shutter. In reality it is not true. So the best pictures can only be taken with two steps. First, pressing half way and without not shaking the camera continuing on pressing the shutter. At last the camera takes picture. But a good photographer does not know the moment of taking the picture. He/She only knows and concentrates on not shaking the camera.

3. Best pictures can only be taken with an artistic point of view. Best photographers place the subjects to the most estetic point and the best estetic position.

4. Best pictures can only be taken without using the flash.

5. Best pictures can only be taken at the Golden Hour time. Golden Hour is the time period, starting with the Sun rise and ends after an hour. Second Golden Hour starts before an hour of Sun Set and ends with the Sun Set.

6. Best pictures can only be taken by a best photographer so you can never see a best photographer's portrait as a best picture.

7. Best pictures can not be taken with a most expensive camera but can be taken by a best working amateur photographer.

8. Best pictures can not be taken by professionals but can be taken by the professional amateurs.

9. Best pictures can only be taken with the camera which has a greater sensor size.

10. Best pictures can only be taken with a natural view of the objects.

Best setting for a olympus stylus tough 6000

The best setting depends on what you're taking a picture of and, more importantly, what YOU want that picture to say to the viewer. The best setting for a portrait most likely won't be the best setting for a landscape, for example. You probably won't want a picture of a grandfather to convey the same impression and mood as a picture of his granddaughter, and you probably want something different for a picture of the two of them together.
That's why the camera offers so many different settings. It just takes pictures. You MAKE pictures by deciding what to include and exclude, whether you have a deep or narrow depth of field, and all the other little things.
The camera manual tells you what the various controls do. There should be plenty of introductory photography books at your local library that will explain the effects of those controls. I suggest taking one (or more) of those books, your camera manual, and the camera itself, and experimenting to see what happens with changing the various settings. Take a lot of pictures and look at them on your computer. You can always delete these pictures when you're done.

I can't set camera for best taking picture

The proper settings depend on what you're taking a picture of. The best settings for a portrait aren't the best settings for a landscape, for example. In addition, you can change the settings to convey YOUR vision of the scene.
I suggest you visit your local library. They should have books on introductory photography which will explain what the settings do.

My digital camera has some problems in daytime the pictures taken were blurred but at nighttime the pictures were pretty ...

You have to ensure that the camera is not set to night mode as this can affect the quality of the pictures you take during day time.
De-activating the night mode will allow it take normal pictures during daytime.

Canon SD1000 blurred pictures and blurred LCD, Camera wont focus! please help ive had it for 2 weeks

The best chance to use your SD1000 is to set to picture, push ISO (on top of the func. set ring) and set to hi. This works pretty well. Do not bother sending any camera to Canon, they charge the "standard charge" plus for all their manufacturing problems on all Canon cameras. Definately the worst customer service on the market.

400D total blackness

Hi, sounds like a shutter problem, try taking a picture in manual mode with an exposure of around 1 second and the aperture stopped right down (small appiture)in daylight.
when you say its not pretty i guess you mean blurred?

If your still getting a black image, take the lens off and put it in bulb and press and hold the shutter release if the shutter dose'nt open and stay open while you hold it then its certainly the shutter.

Its not your fault, all the eos cameras are prone to shutter failure
some are fine for 50,000+ shots others die within a thousand
My fingers are crossed for you that its under warranty. If not a repair in the uk can be done for around 140ukp or $200 in the US, the shutter isn't expensive (about $60) but its several hours work to replace it

Best of luck

Finepix 2600 problems

The 2600 is an old camera now.... I had it as a first digicam, and did not really had the same problems! Only at the beach, at very bright sunlight, pictures were not always the best... If you see the first part of my Thailand pictures, just see the link, there are pictures taken with the same camera. If you think they are better then yours, then the only thing I can say is that there is a fault at the camera! This camera had at his time not a bad reputation, don't forget it is only 2 MP. I have taken it recently to Disneyland, when they stole my G 3, and still had some decent stuff out of it. Battery-life is very poor though!
