Question about Pioneer DEH-P2900MP CD Receiver /AM/FM/MP3/ CD Player
INSTALLED AND REINSTALLED ABOUT 5 DIFFERENT RADIOS IN THE PAST MONTH - COULD I HAVE DAMAGED MY ANTENNA WIRE DOING THIS OR WHAT BECAUSE THE RADIO STATIONS HAVE BEEN WAIVERING IN AND OUT OR DID I GET A BAD HEAD UNIT?
Yes you might have, look at the connection and repair if damaged. The critical part is the inner wire that transmits the signal and if this is loose/broken then you can repair (maybe by reconnecting at the connector or with a soldered connection if you feel comfortable with doing that. Wrap the outer shielding to cover and solder that as well for continuity and strength.
