Tv repair (by 18 users)

I have same problem. TV was fine and then suddenly it turned off shortly after turning on and has not been able to turn back on.

I have an RCA p56830bl big screen tv. When I plug it in the wall and push the power button, nothing happens. I checked the fuse and voltage going into the TV and they are both fine. Any iteas?

No power on rca P46732BA. first the power button stopped working and now not turn with remote. Remote and outlet ok. I thought next to check are fuses. Is it safe to open the back and how many fuses to check.

RCA Projection tv, model number:P46729BA. Unplugged and rolled across the room, plugged back in and now it won't turn on. Tried with remote and buttons on the tv. The outlet is fine everything else has power. Please Help!!!

Sorry I forgot to tell you the tv model...RCA P46729BA, chassis PTK169PCA. The on switch isn't working. what now?

I hit the on button and nothing happens. I checked the power plugs and all are working for the other components sitting on top of the TV such as a tuner and DVD player. Could it be a power switch problem or perhaps a fuse of some kind?

I just received a RCA P46730WK (chassis PTK169PCA) for free. I have been repeatedly assured that it was in perfect working condition before I picked it up. It was lacking a power cable, so I ordered one (and a new remote just in case). The set will not turn on with either remote (new or old) or the power button on the front. The clear glass fuse inside the back panel near the power input appears fine - wire is intact, no fog on the glass.

The set hasn't been powered up for weeks... do these sets need to "charge" prior to power up? Could something have been shaken loose during the move? We were very careful moving it and it was tightly secured in the truck for the trip.

Can I test the power-up by just plugging it into the wall, or should it run through the cable box with all cables connected?

I have RCA 52 ' tv and it just went pop pop last night , now if I push the power button the speakers click couple times but the screen stay black nothing happen, I can hear some kind other click sound like a protection mode.
any help is appreciated
