HI

 

Have a Kenmore model 665.61629100 microwave. We had a power surge and the micro wave is not working properly. The clock works and the light comes on inside, but, it will not operate to heat up food. There is a "d" showing to the right of the time on the LED. Is this a code for some error?

Oven does not show power or start- time only in a.m. and small green icon flashing. Have tried to clear the panel but icon stays

"d" may mean demo mode.

The first thing to try is a "hard reset". Unplug it from the power line for a few minutes, plug it back in, set the clock, then try again.

Let us know if the hard reset doen't fix it.
