I am betting that a lift assist spring has come unattached. You will have to take it apart to find where it did and how to reattach.

Door on drivers side is noisy on 1998 Oldsmobile Bravada

I've seen the weather stripping unattached at the top right where the door angles down to the fender. Use some weather stripping adhesive to reattach.

Remove front panel

It has an interlocking system. Try using a screw drive on side with a little pressure.

Drivers side window motor works but glass seems to have come lose how is it attached and can it be reattached

remove the door trim and check that the runner for the glass is not out of the regulator. If the glass has come out of the metal strip you will have to take it out of the door and replace it . Use new rubber strip (from a rubber shop and very thin) place the rubber in the metal channel and use plenty of liquid soap ( dishwashing liquid) Press the glass back in. Let it dry off for a couple of hours and re assemble in the door.

Frigidaire Affinity washer (LAFW3511KW0) with an E41 error. I have unplugged to reset (no change), checked the stricker (fine), removed outer seal and disconnected and reattached (I also received an E41...

Install the door lock/switch assembly with the door switch harness disconnected but "jumped". Jump a wire between the wire harness terminals and if the error code (E41) stops appearing when the machine is started, the door lock/switch assembly is indeed faulty and needs to be replaced.

Check the continuity of the door switch harness connecting the switch and terminal J2 of of the control board if the error code (E41) still appears every time the machine is started after putting a jumper wire between the door switch harness terminals.

Make sure the connectors are clean and snugly connected to both. Replace the wire harness if you are skeptical about its condition. Disconnecting the door switch wire harness (J2) from the control board and putting a jumper wire between the leads of terminal J2 on the control board will directly confirm the condition of the wire harness and the board itself. The wire harness is the problem and must be replaced if the error code E41 stops appearing. On the other hand, consider replacing the control board if the error code still flashes even when the leads of terminal J2 on the board is shorted ("jumped").

Replace the passenger window on a 1995 toyota tercel

Begin by popping clips in exterior bottom door, don't worry, these will pop right back in. Then take hankerchiefor thin cloth and slide between window crank and door, in upwards motion, to pop off, be careful, there is a plastic clip that will come off with it, I still cannot figure out how to reattach, and have my handle sperate from th door now. If you figure out how to save, let me know. Than on the handle there is a screw, take that off. You will need a flat head to pop the top of the arm rest from the attached bottom, the arm rest has plastic clips that are easy to unattach and reattach. You have then exposed 2 other screws (within the arm rest) that allow you to take the panel off. To get to the g;***, you will propably need to remove the plastic the door is covered in. Ghetto, I know, but sure helped me to avoid paying labor fees.
