Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition for PC

Error Code 1068 in Windows Vista 64

All of a sudden my WIFI stopped working. I set Windows Wireless Service to Automatic and it still did not work. I searched the web for a fix and tried it and got the following error code 1068. Can you please help me?

1. Click Start, and then click Help and Support. 2. Under Pick a Task, click Use Tools to view your computer information and diagnose problems. 3. In the Tools area, click System Configuration Utility. 4. In the right pane, click Open System Configuration Utility. This opens the System Configuration Utility. 5. Click the Services tab. 6. Make sure all the following services are turned on. To turn on a service, click to select the check box.
� Application Layer Gateway Service
� Network Connections
� Network Location Awareness (NLA)
� Plug and Play
� Remote Access Auto Connection Manager
� Remote Access Connection Manager
� Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
� Telephony
� LexBce Server (if you have it) 7. Click OK, and then click Restart.



If this doesnt work please reinstall the os or do a sfc/scannow it will check all system file.and will ask for the XP cd.

I had the EXACT same error on the EXACT same date as you. Its is obviously a problem with Webex, and I emailed them right away. HERE is the response I got from them this morning:

I accept your point that it was working fine on the same computer until now. QuickBooks Remote Access service does not officially support Windows 64-bit Edition as of now. The service may or may not work depending on what updates Microsoft makes and this is not something that WebEx can control and cannot confirm.

It would not be possible for us to investigate the issue or escalate it since official support is not available right now.

Cannot access network resource error when trying to load from cd


Just Simple.. You can try System Restore in Vista.. Cause in Vista can't not read automatic like vista. if your dont have Nero Disk try restore in good Condition before Software Crash..

Wireless adapter has suddenly stopped working.


First unplug your adapter and boot your computer. It wouldn;t hurt to reboot it once as well. This should clear out any settings. When it has fully booted up only then insert the adapter into a different usb port. If it recognizes it and works it can indicate a usb problem.

If it finds it but doesn't connect a adapter problem. You can uninstall it and reinstall the drivers and it might work. If not replace. If it does nothing then its died on you and your adapter needs to be replaced.

Most adapters and home network units (wifi routers etc) only last for 1-2 years before they act up or die on you. Very annoying and can be expensive. I have a stack of wifi routers where the wifi isn;t reliable but the rest works. And a drawer full of various wifi adapter that are detected but not connected and a few just plain dead ones. All of them seem to fail at about the same time after purchase.

Hi i have aprob my computer say the printer spooler cannot running error 1068


Check for other Service Dependencies A 1068 is a service dependency error. Print Spooler can't start because it thinks a service it depends on is not running.

shortcut: start-run-"services.msc"

Go into services and check its dependencies, it should just be the RPC service, which you shouldn't be able to stop, check that RPC is running

Double click print spooler and click the dependencies tab. See if there are any other dependencies set besides rpc. If so you will want to find them in services and make sure they are set to automatic and are running (will probably need to start them).

Then try to start "Print Spooler" service, should work. May need to reinstall printer drivers then.

HI,
right click on my computer -> select manage -> one should be services and something (or something like that) open that and go to services -> find the printer spool service and right click on it -> click on properties -> in the printer spool service properites click the "Start" button and also under a drop down menu change it from "Disabled" to "Automatic".... This is what you did right ?

Log in to Administrator account and try it there. If that doesn't work then install a fresh copy of Windows Xp. It should work now. Thank you.

Try to use your laptop in the other wifi connection if it's work the problem is your router wifi configuration. But if cannot work try to check in device manager if your wifi device is working properly. in the RUN type DEVMGMT.MSC and look for your wifi device there if there is a ? mark it's mean that there is a complex configuration in the wifi. remove the wifi device in restart your computer the windows automatic detect the device in install it. try to connect if it is work but if still not work check for the ip and gateway configuration in the wifi setup.

HP print spooler problem and error 1068. Want my printer back!!!


hi! Print Spooler is actually a service for your Operating system-
Try this

Click on start and click on run
in the open box type in services.msc and your services local window should open, scroll down and look for print spooler, highlight it and do a right click and on the dropdown menu left click on stop and it will go to a process of stopping the service and then right click back and click on start. if you get an error message about print spooling or spooler, then that means you have a problem with the operating system. call or go to microsoft help and support online in that case. and RPC server unavailable error has something to do with a network printer. but i believe you setup the printer locally.

A 1068 is a service dependency error. Print Spooler can't start because it thinks a service it depends on is not running.




click Start, then click run. Type in "services.msc" without the " " marks
