Made in China and generally regarded as disposable, they are $600 new. The pulse unit will be on one end of the crankshaft. Check the parts suppliers for a parts diagram, or here
check the charging system by puttng a multi meter across the battery with it set on >20volts dc ,it shouldn't go above 14.4 volts with the engibe revving at half throttle if it does change the regulator/rectifier they are non servicable .also make sure your bulbs are the right voltage im guessing 12 volts but as you have not said what bike it is im unsure.what make and model is it ??
The battery is the key. The starters are pretty durable so make sure you a using a charged attery with good contacts. Also, check the fuses, you may have a blown fuse that wil prevent you from turning the starter.
sounds like the cable needs to be lubed (oiled use 3in1 or wd40) the only thing is you need to remove the cable at the throttle end to do this good luck hope this helps you rember to leave a rateing
My bike is a year old come the end of oct i started to ride from Jan of this year and my battery keeps going flat im on my 3rd battery now and am getting stressed out!!
Ive charged the battery but as it goes on the bike its like some one has pressed dump power and the power just goes but if i push start the bike and run it for a while it will hold the charge for a few min but it goes again after i power the bike down!
What could it be help
