Question about Dell Inspiron 1525 Notebook
I have a Dell inspiron 1525 with vista. I am the only person that uses it so I have only one account. Recently I turned on my computer and the system icons in the notification area were gone, aka, I could not see my power level network or volume icons in the lower right corner. I right clicked on the toolbar, clicked on properties and then went to the notification area tab. The system icons were all dim, light grey or whatever, so I couldn't click on them. So I made a new user account, making it the administrator. I went to that account and turn the icons on. It fixedit. well today, I turned my computer on and the volume icon was gone. I did every thing I could but it wont come back :( Please help me!
Try restarting the computer, then go back to the Notification Area for your Taskbar, then verify if the volume icon is active for you to select.
