Jumpers are given on the mother board to configure the PC or to Enable or Disable devices etc. Hence unnecessary jumpers are not installed by the manufecturers. (ehteshamhusain@gmail.com)

Bios password for foxconn h61mxe

open up the case and look at the mb, look for cmos reset, you need to turn off the computer use the jumper to short out the board, when the jumper is in place turn the computer on let the system boot up than shut the system down remove the jumper, restart the computer.
if that fails you could try removing the back up battery on the board.

maybe try removing the battery on the motherboard first before resetting the cmos.

Video caed G4MX440 model 8866 There is a jumper JP 5oo on top side of boaed what is it for

Searching various forum threads still availble for this 10 year old card finds that this is a backup/flash ROM of some sort. It seems like each position is a video BIOS version for the card, potentially allowing you to flash a different BIOS to the board. If your board appears dead, you move the jumper into the 2nd position, power up the PC, and move the jumper back to the first position while the PC is still running and then flash the BIOS with Nvidia's NVFlash utility.
Search Google for "MX440 8866 jumper" and the first thread seems very relavent.

Make sure you remove the jumper with the power OFF (not connected)

Disabling a Forgotten Password
NOTICE: This process erases both the system and setup passwords.
1 Open the computer cover.
2 Remove the jumper plug from the PSWD jumper to disable the
password feature.
See "Jumper Settings" to locate the password jumper (labeled
"PSWD") on the system board.
3 Close the computer cover.
4 Reconnect your computer and devices to an electrical outlet, and then
turn them on.
This erases the existing password(s).
5 Enter system setup and verify that the password is disabled.

Need cmos jumper location on Dell Dimension 8200 to bypass bios password

From what I can gather, you just need to locate the jumper labeled PSWD and remove it. Turn computer back on, then back off. Replace jumper pin and turn computer back on. That should do it. Removing the jumper disables password. Turning on computer resets it. Replacing jumper re-enables password capability.

I changed the color wheel in my HLP6163w. Now the color is off. I looked at the delay index and tried to adjust it but it won't work. The colors are just not right. How do I get the colors right?

Check if instructions with color wheel show a jumper on DMD board for an upgraded bearing-type of color wheel. Jumper hole would be on rear-facing shield of DMD board. (Standard 2-pin jumper used on computer boards.) Probably would have to remove jumper; not insert it.

I just asked about removein the startup password wat do mean with the jumper i am new with computers so could u explain a lil more

3ac542afbc4ff40fe47b72448dec8cca.png they look like this and can be any color... Most motherboards can have the BIOS password reset by moving the jumper to the correct pin position. Many motherboards have small print by the jumper to indicate the correct positions. For example you might see some pins on the mother board, with a jumper like the one above, with the words PSWD RST or something similar wrote on the mother board. If the jumper is on pins 1 and 2 move it over to pins 2 and 3, then reboot your computer. Then shut down the computer down and put the jumper back where it was and it should have reset the pass word.

I would advise you to compare my instructions to that of *********** boards manual which you can download form the mother boards manufacturers website.
