SONY DCR-HC39E THERE IS A PROBLEM EVERYTIME YOU INSERT A CASSETTE, WHETHER TO RECORD OR PLAYBACK, THE SCREEN JUST SAYS "REINSERT CASSETTE" AND THERE IS A CONSTANT BEEPING NOISE.
THE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED AND I HAVE TRIED NEW TAPES OLD TAPES ETC BUT NOTHING WORKS.

try it without inserting cassette if it closes correctly and doesnt load with cassette then 99% problem is with drum motor.look out for drum motor connector remove it clean it with pencil eraser and try again if it works, fine or just replace drum motor
