Printer will not advance to tear after print

I can't give the exact solution for this printer, however, I use the Epson POS thermal printer and here was our solution. In Windows 7 go to Devices and Printers. Click on Printer Properties. Then see if you see a tab that says Document Settings. Under that setting click on Paper Source. You should now see several options; I have mine set on Document(Feed, No Cut). There are other options but we prefer to tear ours off. You can chose Document(Feed, Cut) and it should advance then cut the paper for you.

Dear Friend,
I too had the same problem with my L200 printer and searched the whole net and I couldn't find the answer. Ultimately I myself found and rectified the problem. Here is the answer.
  • When you give print on the printer dialogue box click properties
  • this will bring you the L200 printer property
  • Now go and click the shortcuts tab
  • In this short cuts tab select the Letter document High- quality
  • Now you click ok
  • you are now ready to print

I have an Epson TM88II and it only prints question marks. How can I solve this

??? Assuming using serial port ???
Question marks are substituted for bad data.
Normal reason for this is incorrect Baud rate.

Power on printer while holding feed button.

Current settings including baud rate will be printed.
Press feed a second time to complete the test print.

Set port to setting specified by printout.

(at command line)
mode com1:9600,N,8,1

mode port : baud , parity , data bits , stop bits

I hope this helps
