Question about Washing Machines
My GE washer was going through its cycle and when it got to the rinse it wouldnt drain and all I could hear was a buzzing noise near the control knobs.
You didn't say which model it is, but by now I assume you know about the small trap at the bottom of the newer ones? On 2007 and back, you have to remove 3 or 4 screws on the bottom panel. You'll see the rubber stopper screwed in.
Have a pan under it capable of holding at least a quart of water. There will be all kinds of stuff in there.
If that isn't it, you may have a bad control panel.
