I have a Sprint, Sanyo phone. I am not 100% sure which type of phone it is but under the battery it says Model No. SCP-2400. Anyways, I didn't do anything in particular when it broke, it started to vibrate (I was getting a call) and when I opened it the screen was blank...it still glowed but there was no picture. I can still see the time and stuff of the phone is closed on the little display screen on the cover but when I open it up it just glows. I can still receive calls and even make them if I know the number but cannot see the numbers. Also the little light underneath the display on the cover was orange, I had never seen it glow orange yet it was like that constantly for over and hour and now it is constantly red. So my question is three-fold
1) What is wrong, and can it be fixed?
2)Is there a way to take the Key Guard off (without being able to see the buttons and menu screen)--I ask this in hopes of being able to scroll through my numbers from the display screen on the cover and writing them all down
3)What are the chances that I can get my numbers back when I have a new phone
Okay I work for Sprint as a advanced technical support. Your screen is busted I can tell that when you said it was orange. The LCD is non existent and the colors have mixed. I hope for your sake that you have insurance because it is time to get a new phone. and yes when it is closed the sub screen works fine because it is two separate screens and your main screen is the one busted. It is hard to say if you will be able to get your contacts back because in most cases I have seen that information is lost. So it is time to take it to a Sprint Nextel and Repair center. Hope that helps :)
