Question about SanDisk Sansa E280 MP3 Player

Problem downloading books

I just purchased a Sandisk e280 and I learned from that it isn't possible to download books to the e280. There must be a way. Can anyone tell me how I can do this?

Download files from Audible to computer, and then use Wondows Media Player to get them from computer to Sansa

How do I activate a sandick clip sport mp3 for downloaded audible books

Hook it up to Audible Manager on your computer. Add the Device under Devices tab, and Add New Device. Click on SanDisk Digital Players. It will shut down AudibleManager. Connect mp3 player to computer. Restart Audible and it will recognize the player. Drag items from your library to the player. I had to delete books from the mp3 player directly within AudibleManager so Audible didn't get confused.

Do not know how to download and can not find book

You have to download "audible manager" from Use it to transfer audible books to your device. It's free in period time and free some books.

Browse the Audible audio book file in alphabetical order. Press the Play/Pause/Up Button or Repeat/AB/Down Button to browse through the audible audio files. Press the Select Button to browse the songs for the selected file.

Sansa m250 doesn't continue playing from the same spot after power up

This player will only recognize Audible audiobook files

There is not a fix for the pause/resume issue - it is a major problem for just about every mp3 player that claims audiobook compatibility

To get rid of that message, you need to connect your Sansa to your computer and open the Rhapsody software to "deauthorize" your Sansa (assuming that you're not going to be using the Rhapsody service).
