Chainsaw i have fuel coming out of my muffler

    I took the carburetor apart and everything seems fine but now i think i may be putting the gaskets on backwards does anyone have any instructions on how to put the gaskets back together

Most likely you have a hole in the diaphragm inside carburetor on needle is sticking remove carburetor and clean install carburetor kit.

    You have 4 gaskets, diapram side the one with metal ring on it and the plain gasket .Gasket first then diapram metal toward carb.Other side has two gaskets also one is rubber or sometimes plastic that one goes toward carb.first then you install other one.

PP2075 starts with the muffler off but not with it installed. Muffler is clean - screen is clean - center facing the right way. Good fuel etc....

mufflers can be clean and still not work properly. After removing muffler and unit runs then change your muffler and clean your exhaust port while doing so

remove the muffler and run it after seeing that it runs good open the muffler and clean the screen inside

Wont start

check for spark check for fresh fuel mixture check for the fuel filter being connected to the fuel line if all that is good remove the muffler if it runs with the muffler off open the muffler and clean the screen

Replace muffler on poulanpro 262 42cc

there is two bolts on the front of the muffler that hold it on remove the bolts and the muffler will come off most muffler problems are carbon build up inside the screen it is made to open to clean the screen

McCulloch mcc1635a chainsaw won't run. Acts like it is starving for fuel.

take off the muffler and try it there is a screen inside that get plugged up with carbon you can open the muffler to clean it

Chainsaw wont fire

Is the spark plug wet (inside after trying to start it)? If dry, the carburetor isn't delivering fuel into the engine. Check the muffler to see if it is plugged. Is the carburetor firmly attached to the engine? Fuel and spark at the right time makes it go! Try squirting a little fuel into the carburetor throat. Might be loose screws on carburetor assembly.

Fuel is coming out of my muffler on my chainsaw

your air fuel ratio is off, that is unburnt fuel coming out.
you need less fuel, turn knob down at carb when running and adjust till runs good and no fuel comes out
