Spin cycle makes noise but does not spin. Moved the washer to find a belt on the ground. How do i replace this?

First put the belt well around the small wheel with slot at the motor end. Next ease the belt over the left side of the big wheel (as you see), in front of your washer tub. Next turn the big wheel gently clockwise to ease the belt into the big wheel's slot.

The belt should 'give' half an inch or so, it should not be too loose or tight. If it is too tight your bearings life will be shortened. If it is too loose, replace.

Drive belt assembly

The mark II VW uses one large belt which goes around the crank, water pump and A/C compressor. Then, there is another smaller belt that goes around the crank and power steering pump (if equipped). Then, a smaller belt goes around the A/C compressor and around the alternator. If it's a diesel, there will also be a tensioner pulley for the alternator belt. If gasoline, there will be no pulley. To answer your question, there are 3 belts. One big one and two small ones.

Replacing dryer belt and want diagram to be sure it correct

Put the bel around the tumbler first, then around the motor pulley, and finally put the farthest part of the belt at the pulley around the tensioner. Good luck.

Belt too big?

Sometimes instructions are on the new belt package. You can google your unit for support. Check Repairclinic.com. Keep in mind the belt must go at least a half turn around the motor pulley( grooves down on the pulley), then the tensioner is pulled toward the motor and the belt goes a half turn around that pulley, with the grooves up. That should take up all the slack.

Replacing maytag dryer belt

looking at the back of the motor where the belt pulley is you would grasp belt coming down from the left side of drum then come across the top of belt pulley that is on motor shaft going clockwise around that pulley then continue back to your left and over the top of belt tension pulley going counterclockwise around that pulley this is when you will have to raise pulley against spring pressure to get belt on then release belt tension pulley make sure that belt is still in belt groove on the drum hope this helps ed

Eject motor ... I don't know

The eject motor will be a shiny metallic cylinder around 3/4" in diameter and around 2" long. It will have a white plastic pully with a black rubber belt around the pulley. Try rotating the pulley and belt to manually move the eject mechanism.

Good luck!

Belt fitting for a WF000 hotpoint washer?

It should go around 2 wheels; one is the pulley of the motor, where there is a good groove. The other goes around the tub wheel which is big one. First fit to the motor wheel then fit to one side of this big wheel & turn the wheel to engage it gently. The belt should have a "give" of only half an inch, or it will be too loose or too tight.

If helped pl rate.........
