Question about Sharp AJ-5030 InkJet Printer

CHECK BOTH CART. message

My Sharp AJ-5030 is displaying "CHECK BOTH CART.". I've installed two new cartridges, re-seating them several times, but I cannot get the message to go away. It won't allow me to print, copy, or receive faxes. Can you help? Thanks, Joe Mras

    Same problem. I've tried re-manufactured cartridges from several makers, original and re-manufactured Sharp cartridges, & cleaning the printer cartridge holder contacts with a pencil eraser. Nothing has worked so far. Seems like a software problem, but when I try to reinstall the software disk, the installer asks for a 'SpGrxNT.DLL' file, which I can't locate.

Are they original cartridge if not change them for original ones failing this clean the contacts on the cartridges and the carriage.

SHARP AR 5520 keep displaying TONER INDICATOR ALARM MESSAGE whenever I switch on the copier. And even if there is toner, the message keep displaying. So what is the problem?


Dear
The ink cart. is dual component one is drum unit and other is toner unit. You may go to system information there consumable information which indicate the status of the both and according to that replace the chip of the respective cart.

Just purchased a used HP LaserJet 4 Plus -- when turned on and installed it is showing 14 no EP CART -- we do not use cartridges so need to reset to default settings. Tried Power On and holding online but...


Ensure that the Toner Cartridge is installed correctly (fully
seated into the printer). Try a new Toner Cartridge. If the
problem continues, try this

14 NO EP CART Message

The printer detects the presence of the Toner Cartridge and the
level of toner present in the cartridge through the condition of the
ANTIN signal. The ANTIN signal becomes part of the serial data
stream used to communicate with the DC Controller (see Figure
7-5 for cartridge components). Troubleshoot the 14 NO EP CART
(or INSTALL TONER CARTRIDGE) message as follows:
1 Reseat the Toner Cartridge. Try a new or known good Toner
Cartridge.
2 Check the High Voltage Contacts for damage. If the contacts
are dirty or damaged, clean the contacts after the repair.
3 Replace the High Voltage Power Supply.
4 Check and reseat the HVPS cable.
5 Replace the DC Controller.

TRYING TO OPERATE THE SHARP MFP AJ-5030 ALL IN ONE FOR SCANNING BUT THE MACHINE REFUSE TO START WITHOUT INK CARTRIDGES WHY I NEED CARTRIDGES FOR SCANNING ?


Several all-in-one machines are designed not to function without ink cartridges installed. This is to keep from accidental burnout of the printhead nozzles. Even though you only want to use it as a scanner, you could easily click it to print or copy which woule burnout the printhead nozzles. I guess you could call it a "safety feature".

My printer is not printing and give error message like ''communication error''. Is it because the cable is too long? I am using 10 ft now


Cable length has nothing to do with it. It may even be on the computer side as corrupt driver installation etc. Make sure the cable connections are correct. uninstall the device from the device manager and reinstall.

Ink cartridge (not) installed properly


unplug machine from power outlet. take all carts out. wait 5 min. plug machine to power. wait until machine demands carts. reinsert carts and make sure they are secured. answer display when asked if you have changed.

If you still have the error message use a original brother cart.
