I need to apologize for my typing. How anyone can read it is beyond me. A stroke wasted my vision a tad. A big tad.
Let me ask without insult. Are you sure they are both wires? There should be no oil coming from there unless it is runnining down the wires from above. Is the oil gauge facrory in dash or after market add on? How do the ends connect to the sending unit? Make sure neither one id plastic tubing.
If connector is a clip than it's a wire. L shaped push on, correct?Ok, forget the sending unit and chk ' how it is routed. Often it will lay on or close enough to the valve cover edge to allow oil from valve cover gssket leakage to collect and run down.. Let's look at that. Good luck. If that is the case, you have a leak to fix on top.Let me know, we'll find it.

You will find the oil sending unit in any good parts store, and as last resort the dealership

The low oil pressure warning lamp will illuminate when the ignition switch is turned to the

position without the engine running. The lamp also illuminates
if the engine oil pressure drops below a safe oil pressure level. To
test the system, perform the following:

It is leaking oil, that is the main problem. I need to know if the part of the sensor that is connector to the wiring harness, the part that plugs into the sensor, is available at a parts store or if I would be required to buy a whole new wiring harness.
It's in the dash from the factory and, there is only one wire. I'm not positive if it is a small hose or if it is a wire. My first instinct was that it is a wire sending a signal to the meter on the dash, but it could be a small hose. It is grayish in color, could have been white and just turned gray because of the oil leaking onto it. It connects as a clip, sort of like the one for a taillight, only it is about 1 1/4" long.
Disconnect the two wires, clean off the senseder and start engine if it wont start, plug the wires back on , start engine and watchch sendinding unit. If oil seeps from unit m it is faulty. pick one up at parts store and it should come eith whatever you need to replace old one. pick up a sending sockrt if you can, do bot use an open end wrench ,pliers,or crescent wrench to remove snd install. and do not overtighten, use teflon tape on threads cleanly. good luck
