Question about Car Audio & Video

My JVC KDSH55 player's face was not on all of the way and started playing, well the face fell off and continued to play. In order to shut it off I had to un hook my cars battery. To this day it will only play that one CD that was in the player at the time and nothing else. What could it be and how can I get it to play everything and not just that one disk??? I cannot afford to but another CD player.

    it doesn't have a computer hook up and I did try the re-set button and that didn't help. So I don't know what else to do with out buying a new player but I can't afford to do that. Thanks anyway.

If you have the operating manual/guide its schematic diagram should show a reset button(very tiny like a pinhead) which should restore it to default factory settings. If it has provision to connect to a PC, then operate it from the PC and run the troubleshooting steps or resetting it to factory settings.......sodeep

Skip Bo Instructions
Object: Be the first player to play every card in your Stock pile, by playing all of your cards in numerical order, 1 to 12. For two to six players ages seven and up.

Contents: 144 numbered cards and 18 SKIP-BO cards. 162 cards total.

Beginning Play: Shuffle the deck. Each player draws a card. The person with the highest card is the dealer. The dealer deals 30 cards to each player if there are two to four players. In five to six player games, each player is dealt 20 cards. These cards are dealt face down and form each player's Stock pile. Once all Stock piles have been dealt, each player flips the top card of their Stock pile right side up and places it on top of the pile. The remaining cards not dealt are placed face down on the table to form the draw pile.
Playing Area: Each player is going to need room for four Discard piles near their Stock pile. You will also need room for four Building piles in the center of the table near the draw pile. These piles are formed as the game progresses-so make sure you leave space for them.
Stock Pile: The top card is always face up. Each player has a Stock pile.

Draw Pile: This is the pile in the center of the playing area created with all cards remaining after Stock piles are dealt.

Lost my rules for my five alive card game


SET UP
Place one set of "A-L-I-V-E" cards (color coded) in front of each player. Set aside unused "A-L-I-V-E" cards.
Shuffle the deck.
Deal out 10 cards to each player.
Place the remainder of the deck face-down in the center of the table.
Play proceeds clockwise, starting left of dealer.
WHAT HAPPENS
Players take turns playing a card onto the discard pile.
If it is a number card, add it to the running total. If this would take the total above 21, instead of playing it, you must flip over an "A-L-I-V-E" card.
If it is a WILD card, follow the appropriate instructions.
If it is your last card, the hand is over. All other players flip over an "A-L-I-V-E" card.

DRAW: All other players must pick up 1 card from the face-down deck. Counts as 0 to the running total.

DRAW 2: All other players must pick up 2 cards from the face-down deck. Count as 0 to the runing total.

PASS ME BY: Play passes to the next player in the rotation. Count as 0 to the running total.

REVERSE: Play now proceeds in an opposite direction, left to right and vice versa. If played when only two players are left, it is treated as a PASS ME BY card. Counts as 0 to the running total.

SKIP: The next player is ignored and play proceeds to the following player. If played with only two players, the player of the card would get an immediate new turn. Counts as 0 to the running total.

=21: No matter what the total was, it is now 21. Can be played when the score is already 21, when it has no effect, but avoids a penalty.

=10: The running total is now 10.


HAND IN & RE-DEAL: All players hand their cards to the player of the card. He must shuffle all the hands, including his own and re-deal them to the players.
He does not include the face down deck or the discards. He should start dealing to his left. If new hands are unequal, bad luck. Play continues as normal, but the running total is reset to 0. If this card is the last card played from a players hand, the round is over.

BOMB: When played, all other players must immediately discard a 0. If they can't, they must flip an "A-L-I-V-E" card. Running total is reset to 0.
Note: other WILD cards with a value of 0 cannot be substituted.
WINNING
The last player with an "A-L-I-V-E" CARD face up is the winner.
ALTERNATIVE SUDDEN DEATH ENDING
As soon as one player flips all "A-L-I-V-E" cards, the game ends. The player
with the most "A-L-I-V-E" cards remaining is the winner.
If there is a tie, the tied players add the total value of the number cards
remaining in their hand. The player with the lowest total wins.
ALTERNATIVE TEAM PLAY
FOR 4 TO 6 PLAYERS. DIVIDE INTO 2 TEAMS.
Team members sit alternately around the table.
Each team uses only one set of "A-L-I-V-E" cards.
All WILD cards operate as before: For example, when playing the BOMB, your team might flip several "A-L-I-V-E" cards, if the players don't have a "0".
When a player plays his last card, the opposing team loses only one life.
Play continues as normal until a team flips all "A-L-I-V-E" cards.

Lost instructions for Snap card game.


Snap is an easy-to-learn card game for two or more players. Players must race to be the first to yell "Snap!" after noticing a match on the table. If you are the first player to yell then you win more cards to add to your pile. The first player to collect the entire deck is deemed the winner.

Setup
Shuffle a standard deck of 52 playing cards then deal them one by one to each player. It does not matter if some players start with more cards than others. Each player should keep their cards face down in front of them.

Gameplay
Starting with the player to the left of the dealer, each player flips the top card from their pile and starts a second, face-up pile next to their face-down pile. This process continues one by one for each player going around the table clockwise.

Snap
All players race to yell "Snap!" when any player turns up a card that matches a card that is already face up on another player's pile. The first person to yell "Snap!" gets to add the two piles under the matching cards (including the matching cards) to the bottom of her face-down pile.

Snap Pot
If multiple players yell "Snap!" at the same time, the two matching piles are combined and put face-up in the center of the table creating a "Snap Pot" and play continues as normal. If a card matching the top card of the snap pot is played then players must race to yell "Snap Pot!" The first to yell "Snap Pot!" gets to add the snap pot and the matching pile to the bottom of their face-down pile.

False Snap
If a player ever yells "Snap!" or "Snap Pot!" when no matches are played that person must give their top card to the last person to play a card.

Objective
The player to collect all of the cards is the winner.

Got this from my grandson and it works great, but will only play one cd and then I have to choose another. Is there a way to make it "shuffle" cds? JVC PC-XC70


If you have the remote..load all the discs you wish to play..press the cd play button...then if you wan't to play the discs in order press the "continue" button..then the cd play button...if you want to shuffle the discs...select the "random: button on you remote....I hope the was helpful.

I cant seem to be able to turn it on because i cant find the power botton.


Hello!

Many Mp3 players often times have no power button, or a On/Off button. Although they probably should, many companies allow buttons to play multi tasks in the ever increasing need to save space.

Most times, pressing the play button, or holding the play button (signified by a right facing triangle) is used to start the mp3 player.

Ipod's do not have a "on?off" button either, you can simply press any button to make it start. holding the play button will allow it to go into a power save mode and "shut down" as well.

There is often a "lock" button you may have to slide or press in order to get it to turn on. This button is there so to no accidentally turn on the mp3 player when you dont need it, and waste battery life.

Disc starts to play and then locks up


All regions are not equal, and different DVD players can and will act differently when an improper DVD is loaded....accordianman
