WOW!!! I am so sorry that this happened. Nintendo products are really hard to open. If you cant wedge the game out with a small screwdriver, dont worry about the game, here are the directions on opening it. Just copy and paste to word so you can see the whole thing easily.

How to open your Wii Console Step by Step Instructions

To disassemble:

  1. Flip the device upside down and remove the small silver Phillips screw. Once out, remove the battery tray from the console.
  2. Next remove the rubber foot directly above this battery tray. Also remove the three square white stickers from the bottom of the Wii. The rubber foot and the sticker are covering hidden screws. Figure 3 provides a shot of where these screws are located. NOTE
Hiding screws under stickers and rubber pads is a common method used by electronics manufactures to help increase the aesthetics of their devices, as well as prevent people from easily locating screws and taking apart their products.
  3. Unscrew the two Triwing screws and three Phillips screws from the bottom of the Wii.

  1. Flip the Wii over onto its right side. Locate and remove the two rear rubber feet and the two rectangle stickers near the faceplate.
  2. Remove the two silver Triwing screws in the holes and remove the two black Triwing screws on the faceplate (Figure 4).

  1. Flip the Wii upright and carefully remove the two socket covers. They come right out with a little wiggling.
  2. Remove the three black Phillips screws from the black plate (Figure 5). Note the one closest to the faceplate is the longest and will need to go back into that hole when putting the Wii back together.

  1. With the screws removed, carefully pull off the faceplate of the front of the Wii. You will need to disconnect the red/black wire plug from the Wii to remove the faceplate completely. Figure 6 shows what is hiding under the faceplate. wiifig06.jpg Figure 6 - Under the Wii faceplate

Lay the Wii on left side (with the ATI and Nintendo logo facing you) and slowly work the right side cover of the console off the device.
This will take a little bit of force. If something appears to be stuck, double check to ensure you removed all the screws.
Locate and remove four screws holding DVD reader in place. Two are located in plain site in the middle of the unit. Two ar2 discs stuck in console - wiifig08.jpgar the front of the Wii inside the DVD unit (Figure 8). wiifig08.jpg Figure 8 - The insides of the Wii
Slowly tilt the DVD player upward toward top of Wii. There are two wires that need to be disconnected before you can safely remove the DVD unit. One is a plug type of connector that only requires a little tug. The other is a circuit strip connector that requires you to lift the brown catch, which will release the pressure holding the strip in place (Figure 9). Do not break this!

How do I get a stuck disk out of my play station3? It will power up but when i hit the eject button the standby button turns red. We think there are two disc stuck in there but we cant be sure.

I have seen several suggestions at the playstation*com PS3 forums in the past, such as:

| then hold the eject button while you flip the back
| power switch back on. Worked for my buddies

This one with multiple discs jammed it sounds like it may apply to you:

"If anyone is having any problems, this is what worked for me. What is more amazing is that my son somehow managed to force 3 discs into that tiny slot...no idea how he pulled that one off.

So after two hours, a pair of tweezers, a fork, and a butterknife, I decided to try one last thing before giving up. I put the PS3 on its nose, disc tray down, held the eject button while it was on, and pushed a disc in and out of the drive. This caused whatever was in there to finally 'catch' as the drive had been trying to force everything out. After 2-3 minutes of play, a disc finally poked out. I pulled what i thought was one and two discs came out. I set it back down flat, tried to put a cheap DVD in (didn't want to test it with a $60 game) and it seemed something was still in there. I hit eject and out came the third disc. I put the DVD in reluctantly and the PS3 took it and loaded it right up. Unbelievable. After all this abuse, it's apparent these things are built like tanks."

You gotta love children.
Hope that helps.

Disc drive wont open or close

This problem might not be covered by the warranty so if you want to send it in it might cost some money (call them first just to see how much). If you attempt to repair it yourself it will void the warranty (they wont repair a voided console at all), there are guides on the internet to help you take apart your system and repair it but it takes some experience. Call support first!

Something stuck in disc drive of ps3

There is no need to open up the console! Make sure the power is off! Get someone to hold the PS32_bing.gif upside down (so the disc slot is facing down) then get 2 butter knives insert them carefully one on the left and one on the right of the disc slot. Now gently push the knives away from eachother so that the one on left goes left and the one on the right goes right. You will feel them push the brackets that hold the disc in. As you push the brackets you will release the mechanism that holds the disc in and it should just drop out. I did this with mine when my little boy decided to put a credit like card in it!

Mintek 1050 dvd player

Sounds like something may be stuck inside the unit. If there is no warranty left, UNPLUG the device from the mains, undo the 2 or 4 screws on the sides of the unit, lift off the lid and just look to see if there is a foreign object inside or a DVD,(if at some point one of the kids put 2 Discs in and closed it, one of them could have got pushed over the top of the drive and got jammed), remove it and put the lid back on. Just make sure you don't touch or fiddle with any thing inside as not to damage it further.
Another possibility is that something is stuck to laser lens which you will only be able to see if you take the lid off.
DANGER WARNING do not take the lid off in the same room as the kids, or they WILL do it themselves, when you are not about.

Cant put cds inside

I would contact Nintendo. If you are sure there isn't another disc in it, then your motor has apparently taken a vacation.

Just curious... Are there any small children in your house? They love the stick weird stuff in electronic equipment.
