Question about Car Audio & Video
I am trying to find out if and how u can connect a subwoofer and amp to the head unit? I have looked for a connection in the car and read the manual but cannot find anything on this.
You need an amplifier with Hi level inputs - or a line level convertor (hi to low)
This converts the signal going to a factory speaker into RCA output the amplifier can use to amplify the sound.
Be sure your amplifier has a sub crossover built - in or add one to filter out music above 100Hz or so.
