Question about Konica Minolta magicolor 2300DL Laser Printer
My printer works fine, till now I got the "End of Drum Life" message. I heard that we can reset it and make printer think it's a new drum. Would you please instruct me how to do that?
Pull the drum out by the green handle.
Hold it up and look for a small fuse (looks like an old car fuse)
Go to Radio Shack purchase a package of 270-1047 fuses.
4 for less that $5
Replace the fuse on the bottom of the drum.
It will register as new

Hold down the four directional buttons when you switch it on. Keep them held until the display shows maintenance mode. Look through the menu and you should see the relevant menu entry.
There is no guarantee the machine will stop reporting the drum as spent though. Easiest way to stop the message is replace the unit. Your print quality will suffer eventually.
