water is not entering my swamp cooler. Could the problem be that the main water line is clogged up, and if so how do i check it?

Most all swamp coolers have a float valve very much like one in a toilet. Look inside on the bottom and see if one is there. If so, push down on the float and see if water comes in. If not, follow line to see if it may just be turned off from the winter.
