Indesit w113 and w1101 wasing machines dial clicking round

Hi,
I have an indesit w1101 and my friend has an indesit w113 and we both have the same problem (more so on the w113)
It starts a cycle and then all of a sudden the dial will just click round continuosly, turn it off for a bit then it will be ok for a couple of days then same happens. Also on the w113 sometimes it will freeze halfway through a cycle when full of water and will not restart no matter what. Any ideas
Andy

This type of fault is usually associated with a faulty programmer. if you have a reset point, then try to reset it, if no reset, then programmer is faulty.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

The reset point if there is one, is 1 of 3 black dots on timer dial, if no dots, then no reset points.

    Thanks.

Indesit w123. motor burnt out?

If your seeing flashes from behind the dial I'm thinking that the timer needs to be changed. Even with the motor shorted out, it still wouldn't cause that effect to happen.

I have an f-02 fault code on my indesit evolution 1200 we12 wasing machine.do you know what this means? Julie

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

In my lists Indesit's 'F02' stands for 'motor jammed/ tacho problem, check leads' meaning that it is requiring a service engineer's attention I suggest. Sorry ;-0(

If this has assisted and/or clarified the situation for you please consider a 4 thumbs up on our rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Indesit wm2x

We had similar fault.
Rectified ours by switching off at the mains and put dial to one of the dots. Switched on and it reset.
Good luck

Indesit W123 5 flashes error!!

The F05 fault means the pump is blocked, check the filter at the front bottom right of the machine behind the plinth and if its connected under a sink check the hose & connection

My indesit washer/dryer model w10 ,is not working.the programme dial keeps cliking round wont start a programme or take in water.

probably a main module fault but worth while checking for continuity thro the heater and that the pump and filter are ok. the idea is that when a fault is detected, the dial will click round indicating a fault but usually it is the module itself. expensive part. not worth repair

My Indesit won't advance, won't complete a cycle

if the drum rotates at any point and it empties with the pump at any point then check the heater element, its a common fault on these machines

Indesit w113 washing machine

check heating element (rear of drum at the bottom) for open circuit, replace if needed, occasionally the timer will start to click round continuously, indicating the machine has a fault, the machine shuts down waiting for the water to heat up, elements available at most appliance shops but you may need to order specially?
