I'm pretty sure it plugged into the wall. Unfortunatley there is NOTHING on the sub or any of the 4 speakers.

  • janicekomine May 15, 2009

How do you find out if it's + or - ? There are no stickers or any markings other than AC IN on the back of the sub. Thanks

Having some trouble finding any info online about them. Did they have a large power pack that plugged into the wall? If so, there might be some information either right around where they plugged in (im assuming on the sub) or possibly on the product info sticker on the speaker. Make sure if its a round plug in that you look for the tip information (whether if is a positive tip or negative). You might be better off buying a new set, depending on the price of a new adapter, compared to the price of a new set. Let me know if this helps.

Hi, I recently moved and one of my helpers dumped all of my power supplies in a box. I can't tell which one goes with my monitor, my speakers, or even my external drive dock. Help please!

your power supplies will have a brand name on them, they will also be a certain size and shape at the connecting end, eventually you will 'scooby doo' what goes where

I lost sound on my computer

It could be a few things.
Go into the control panel and find the sounds icon. Check everything in there. If it's a laptop, make sure you don't have an external keyboard set for low volume. Make sure you don't have mute turned on. Unplug your headphones. Find your sound system controls and set it for the correct type of speakers. Plug in the speakers. Plug in the speakers power supply.
There are too many variations to know exactly what to tell you, without knowing what computer, system and devices you have.

The power supplies / ac adapters for my AW-871 speakers were both lost in a recent move. The speakers show input of 15v center + but no power spec. Do you have a suggestion for replacements? Thanks for...

Higher voltage then required is not so recommended, internal circuit may over voltage driven. some power amp max limit may fall within 18V only. See this link If your speaker power less then 30w you can choose 15V 2A will do or else select higher spec.

Blinking standby light system will not turn on

I was having a similar problem and determined that there was a short in the speaker leads for the center channel speaker. The leads to the speaker were touching, after being moved, slightly while housecleaning. Once short was eliminated, unit powered on and worked with no problem.

Error 'F61' can anyone help please?

I have the same problem and have found a couple of suggestions:
- check each speaker connection individually to find if one is not working correctly
- check that fan is working correctly. One user said that he had to open the machine and just add some oil on the turning wheel of the fan.

Hope any of these tips work. I will try it myself also.

good luck
