It was not a problem of the beamer, but my notebook has a loose VGA-plug. I fixed it by slipping a handkerchief below the plug. Thus I could carefully lift the plug in order to reconnect the cable. The colours are just fine now!

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Lv 7365 projector color is all pinkish. Lamp hours used only 200. Is there a way to fix the problem? There are no warning or lamp lights flashing.

is the pinkish there when the mebu is showing. is the menu colours OK.
if not then an organic polarizer plate is most likely the problem due to overheating with age

My Epson PowerLite 1725 projector has a wide green bar displayed in the middle of the screen with a purple shadow on its right. Do you think a bulb replacement would fix it?

im afraid that sounds like some dead pixels. and if thats the case then no a bulb wont fix it. call epson tech support and see if they will replace it for free.

Canon LV-S1 New bulb but won't power up

Have you cleaned the filters? In this situation, the fan and power shuts down even before the bulb lights up and heats up the unit, but perhaps the unit can detect clogged filters.

You can download the manual here if you don't have one. Instructions for cleaning the filters are on page 37.
