Go to C:\Program files\Myweb and delete the folder. Then run a good antivirus program like Spybot search and destroy to remove the rest of the virus.

Go to add / remove programs in control panel and un install any thing that relates to my web search and also go to start --> run and type

msconfig

press ok and go to the startup tab and un check anything relating to that dll file ( MP3PLUGIN.DLL )

then use hijackthis ( www.hijackthis.de ) download it extract it and run it and save the log file to your desktop and go back to the site and click on browse and select the log file and click on open and click on analyse and it will show you with red crosses what you need to remove using the hijackthis utility.

Once you have done that do an anti spyware and anti virus scan ( A Squared is very good - found here

Update the defintions and run a scan ( ensuring to disable system restore before you run the scans )

Go to Start > Run > type in 'msonfig' go to the startup tab and click disable all. Restart and see if the error still comes up. If it does then you may need to check some registry entries but check that first.

ERROR LOADING C:\PROGA~1\MYWEBS~\bar\7.bin\M3PLUGIN.DLL IS THIS WHY MY COMPUTER WON'T GO BACK TO A RESTORE POINT ,CAN YOU FIX IT FOR ME?

If you try and restore, and this error comes up when you are restoring then yes.

Check the quarantine file in your anti-virus and see if your anti-virus
quarantined this file.

If you emptied the folder then you can try and download the DLL, and copy it to the system 32 folder in windows.

C, windows, system 32.

Also place it in the program folder of MYWEBS.

This is the download for the DLL below.

I am running XP. I went to RUN - MSCONFIG, then go to START tab. You will find an entry for this DLL. Uncheck to box, choose APPLY, and restart your PC, the nagging pop up on restart should be gone.

I followed these steps and haven't had any issues since:

1. Go to START menu
2. Select RUN
3. Type MSCONFIG and click OK (or press ENTER)
This will bring up your System Configuration Utility window.
4. Select the STARTUP tab.
5. Find M3PLUGIN, untick it, select APPLY and then OK
This will bring a popup dialogue box stating the following:

"You must restart your computer for some of the changes
made by System Configuration to take effect."

6. Select RESTART.

When your computer restarts, you should no longer receive that message.
