Screen dimmed

The monitor is going bad. The capacitors that drive the screen are getting weak. It is too expensive to fix, you'll need a new monitor.

Hello, please!!! What is the appropriate 256MB DIM PC100 module for Soyo SY-5EH v.1.3 ? Which is the mark of the module? What is the shop? Thanks

Hello,
The exact specs for compatible RAM for this motherboard is: SDRAM, PC133 • CL=3 • Unbuffered • Non-parity • 133MHz • 3.3V • 32Meg x 64
You might find this RAM on Ebay, or Tigerdirect.com, memoryexpress.com, etc... though it is old so it might be hard to come by.

I can not find my Worldbook drive on the network sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not there. I am running Windows 7

Are you using it with or without Mionet?

If you have the MBW blue rings version it may be a compatibility issue.

NB: only do this if you're not using mionet! (this is for MBW Blue Rings)

If the drive worked without problems for a period of, perhaps you could try resetting it (this will reset the drive to DHCP - If you had it set to static before and the login details will be default again username: admin | password: 123456). Your data will not be effected by the reset

Reset for MBW White Light: (refer to the link for reset prosses using mionet in the last link)

I'm trying to locate the serial number on my pc so I can get a few viruses out of it.

I'm curious as to why you need a serial number to get viruses out of it. No program that scans for viruses that I know of asks for a serial number.

Go to a recognized site such as mcafee.com or trendmicro.com and look for the free virus scanning utility.

Power supply is shut off abruptly

sounds like the power module went bad- the part is most likely cheap- but getting to it is NOT. Take it to a repair shop for an estimate- you might be better off buying a new one though...
