I have a gp300 model no P94YCP00D2AA 8 channel UHF which has gone deaf on me. I have checked the speaker which is O.K. It bleeps as normal on power up but the red receive led keeps flashing all the time as if it is receiving an incoming Tx. I have re cloned it which was sucessful but it does not make any difference. It Tx's o.k.

try to turn off ctss or tone squelch your radio is receiving truly , you are not hearing it because it is blocked by the decoder without the proper tone you will not be able to hear stations modulating on the frequency, or without 4digit code before the modulator transmission you will never be able to hear them 73, hope this help
