SOURCE: Bosch Axxis WTA 4400 dryer

if you can hear a whirring then the motor is probably spinning, and the problem may just be a broken belt.

If no sound, then probably power not getting to motor via PCB

SOURCE: bosch wta 2000 dryer, heats but drum not turning

If you can hear the motor running then the belt has came off or it is broken. If you cant hear the motor then you possibly have a bad motor.

There are multiple thermal protectors on the circuit. Make sure they are all ok. Double check your connections

Our Bosch Ventless AXXIS Dryer system is overheating causing the sensor to sound. It is not drying properly either. Can you troubleshoot??

Overheating is most probably caused by low air flow past the heating element. High air flow would not allow the air to overheat. Check to be sure the fan is rotatingn freely and then check the heating element/wires for dirt or other obstructions. We were having "burning" problems that were revealed to be an errant latex glove that excaped from my wife's pants pocket during an earlier drying cycle. When it hit the elements, it began to cause a scortching smell and partially melted. In this instance, the air flow about the element was restricted and the reamining air overheated and the sensor sounded. When the sensor sounds, heating ceases and you will get non-uniform drying. I picked off the pieces of the glove from the wires and except for an unrelated drive belt breaking, we have not had problems.

I don't own this model of the Bosch dryer, but my guess is that your hot air flow path is partially blocked with lint or something else. Our heating/air flow element was blocked with a errant latex club hit the elements. I cleaned the flow path and removed the heater obstruction with good results for nearly a year to date.

Hi,

Based likewise on your Premium Problem/Post here, I tried looking for a service manual but only found a possible source of the wiring diagram, have you tried here. Unfortunately, you need to be a paid member to access the files to my understanding.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Bosch Axxis Dryer won'r heat

hi there what u need to check is the thermostats and the heater element which are at the back take the back panel of should be the small 1 and not the complete back panel right once uve got it of there u should see the stats and element now 1 easy way to check the element is with a cord with a plug on 1 end now with the wire at the other end place the live wire and the neutral wire on each of the prongs make sure they dont touch now hold the wire by the insulated part and turn on the power if it starts to glow then your heater element is ok and u should change the stats if it doesnt then your element is faulty m8
