We have a Xerox 4150 that we use to scan to email a lot. Out of the blue, we get the following alert: "15-400 The LDAP server connection failed during a scan-to-Email
operation. Inspect the LDAP settings and have the System Administrator
check the LDAP server. Scan-to-Email is degraded, printing and all
other machine services (if installed) are unaffected"
The LDAP settings are all correct, and nothing has changed with the machine. Any ideas?

- I already did that and we are at the latest level.
I would check your software version. Several of the older versions had a lot of LDAP problems. You can print out a system report and find your Firmware level, then go to Xerox.com, go to Drivers and Downloads and see what the new version. Current firmware level is 10.100.46.000 . follow the instructions.
